Booking Agreement

• A booking is considered an offer to purchase a tour.
• No contract exists until ScandiEuro receives full payment.
• The person making the booking accepts these terms on behalf of all participants.

Services & Prices

• All prices include VAT and are confirmed upon inquiry.
• Prices may change due to taxes, fuel costs, or other external factors.
• ScandiEuro reserves the right to correct pricing errors or cancel affected bookings.
• Minimum age to book: 18 years.

Payment Terms

• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• Prepayment is mandatory for accommodation and tailor-made packages.
• Delayed payments may result in cancellation.
• Booking confirmation is sent via email.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancel 24 hours or more before the tour → Full refund.
• Cancel less than 24 hours before the tour → No refund (100% cancellation fee).

Child Policy

• Children (0–12 years): child rates apply unless otherwise stated.
• Infants: not recommended; ScandiEuro may refuse participation.
• Unaccompanied minors: not permitted.

Booking Changes

• Changes must be requested by the original booker (via email, phone, or official messaging).
• All changes are subject to availability and approval.

Travel Insurance & Liability

• All guests must hold valid travel insurance covering health, baggage, and personal items.
• ScandiEuro is not liable for lost items, force majeure (weather, strikes, delays, etc.), or guest non-compliance.
• Liability applies only in cases of proven employee negligence.

Safety Guidelines

• Guests must follow all safety briefings and guide instructions.
• Proper clothing suitable for Arctic weather is required.
• Participation is at the guest’s own risk.

Extended Cancellation & Refund Policy (Optional)

• Available for an additional fee at the time of booking.
• Valid only with supporting documentation (e.g., doctor’s note, airline cancellation/delay).

Jurisdiction & Applicable Law

• Governed by Finnish law.
• Legal matters are handled in Lappi District Court, Rovaniemi.

Customer Contact Information

• Guests must provide accurate contact details.
• Guests are responsible for monitoring email and messages for updates.

Snowmobile Damage Liability Waiver (Optional)

• Available for an additional fee: reduces liability from €950 to €0.
• Covers snowmobile damage only (not personal injury or reckless behavior).
• Must be selected at booking; non-refundable once the tour starts.

Refund Processing

• Refunds are typically processed within 5–14 business days.

Vouchers & Gift Cards

• Valid for 12 months, unless otherwise stated.
• Non-refundable and not exchangeable for cash.

Weather-Dependent Tours

• Tours may be modified or cancelled due to weather or safety concerns.
• Guests will be offered rescheduling or a refund at ScandiEuro’s discretion.

Accessibility Disclaimer

• Some activities may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or certain medical conditions.
